Our Story
1987
Laurie began her cleaning career when she left corporate America to clean part-time so she could be home when the kids got home from school. Her family has always been her highest priority.

During her years cleaning houses she developed close client relationships and learned what customers in Columbia, SC needed in their house cleaners.
1999
In 1999, Sunflower Cleaning Group was formed. All 5 of their children have worked with Sunflower in some capacity as they attended Dreher High School and during college.
2010
Sunflower Cleaning expanded its expertise in tackling large-scale commercial post-construction cleaning projects for clients such as Fort Jackson, Amazon, Samet, and Lendlease.
PRESENT
After 25 years in business, all of their children have grown and moved away and they count their 15 grandchildren as their greatest blessing.
Laurie and Bronson attribute the success of Sunflower to their amazing staff who have become part of their family.
Working together as a family to build Sunflower Cleaning was a blessing as they served the community they've been a part of for 45 years.
2002
Sunflower Cleaning took on an exciting challenge, a complicated process, which they have perfected over the last 20 years. Managing large portions of the university student apartment turn overs is no small task; sometimes cleaning 70+ units per day, across 6 different apartment complexes, in 2-3 weeks.
